We want you to shop with confidence at Abi's African Market. Please read the information below carefully before making a purchase.
Food and Grocery Items
Due to health, safety, and hygiene reasons, food and grocery items cannot be returned or refunded once they have been delivered, unless:
- The item is faulty or damaged on arrival, or
- The incorrect item was sent to you
If this occurs, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the item and packaging so we can assess the issue.
Clothing, Hair, and Beauty Products
Returns may be accepted for clothing, hair, and beauty products if all the following conditions are met:
- The item is unused, unworn, and in original condition
- Original packaging, tags, and seals are intact
- The return request is made within 7 days of delivery
For hygiene reasons, opened beauty or hair products cannot be returned, unless they are faulty or damaged.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Include your order number and clear photos so we can resolve the issue promptly.
Refunds
If your return is approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout.
Please allow several business days for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.
Shipping fees are non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect
- We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for lost return parcels
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
